Chris Christie Slams Obama's Stimulus Plan

New Jersey's conservative Republican Governor Chris Christie slammed Obama's stimulus plan at this weekend's National Governors Association meeting in Washington, D.C.

Christie argued that the stimulus hadn't really solved any economic problems in the states, but simply allowed cash-strapped states to delay tough decisions.

For those who would say that Christie is a huge disaster for New Jersey, what is your point? The state has a huge deficit and the highest property taxes in the nation! This man is trying to confront that, bring the spending under the control, and restore financial credibility. In order to do that, tough decisions that not evryone will agree with must be made. That's called leadership.

From what I’m read on the internet Gov. Christie took over a state with a 1.2 billion dollar deficit and turned it into a state with a 10.5 billion dollar deficit. And he took money from retirees at the same time he was handing out corporate welfare it doesn’t sound like he likes Grandma and Grandpa at all, but he talks about family values. I think he’s a candidate for the greedy and if you think the greedy care about America read up on the robber barons of the past.
