  • so will the dx5e bind to this with the citabria's stock receiver, or do you have to swap receivers?

  • I am not familiar with that plane, if its 2.4ghz and advertized as BND & FLY then it will but other then that you are going to need to swap RX

  • would you recomende this for my first plane?

  • No because it fragile. easily damage if the landing is not close to perfect. Super Cub would be more suitable for first plane and it as room to grow (mod)

  • Yes the Parkzone Super Decthlon Bl is a brushless & lipo 3ch plane ( thr, elev, rud).

I have ordered a different main wing with ailerons that should be a great fit on this plane but have yet to recieve it.

  • @poodie441 auctally yes i have the same exsact plane and it not that fragile its fragile when you crashe reallr really hard i would recommendit for your first plane it a parkzone super decacthlon

  • @freemarlochip I see what you mean. I just had my first crash with the super dec, well more of a hard landing. One half of the landing gear got ripped right out and the other twisted in the fuse a little bit. so no damage to the landing gear, just the plastic connector in the fuse and some "torn bigger" holes in the fuse where the gear slid into it. I guess I need a whole new fuse or maybe I can glue on a lightweight single piece landing gear?

  • its just as easy to fly as the hobbyzone supercub but can fly faster as this is the more powerfull brushless version

it can fly very docile for beginners too but this plane is more fragile than the supercub and probably more expensive to fix as if you break the motor brushless motors are expensive compared to brushed ones ild recomend this if you have flown something before or even some flight sim experience will do but its not that hard to fly and certainly a beginner could fly this

  • I think I'm probobally going to get the apprentice

  • would you recomend for my first plane the j-3 cub bl

  • Nice flying. I have the same setup as you, but am not quite as good as you yet! I do have some camera mounted vids if you want to check them out.
