Every other year the USC Trojan Marching Band mocks the Stanford Cardinal Band with their traditional "Stanford Countermarch".

@MrGregoryholmes um you're first paragraph makes no sense, "... better than anything the Stanford band has ever done" that's cause you guys actually try whereas the stanford band could care less about perfect formations. + Stanford loves the band, whatever they do the crowd does, they even over finance them just to show how much they care, and i'm sure stanford could find some boring uniform and trojan helmets too somewhere.

Credit where credit is due: they're an excellent band who managed to do a better job of playing badly than the bad band they were mocking.

I think I was in the band when we did the first ever Stanford Counter March in 1979! It has always one of my favorites. I like the Stanford Band despite their lack of class, but this shows that a band CAN have it BOTH ways! Awesome to see 90,000 people to stay in their seats and react like this during a college game! It does show how awesome the USC band is. And fans stay after the game for an a post game concert just to listen to the listen. How many bands in the country can say that? NONE!

it is a bit disappointing that USC does not have the balls to do this at Stanford
