I dont even know why but you guys are worshipping a piece of wood. WTF? Religion is so inconsistent with itself, and your contradictions with your holy book.

This was at a Passion Event called One Day back in 03. It was an amazing event of worship and proclaiming of the Word. During this time the Holy Spirit moved through out the crowd. It saddens me that people question people sincerity in Worship. That is not for you to judge nor question. Question only your own motives and desires. Question how you can draw closer to the Lord. Don't question others Worship because they are not worshiping you nor do they care what you think.

I am christian, but I still think it's wrong to bow before the cross.
Sure, you say they're bowing to Jesus, not the cross itself...
But does it really take a cross to bow down before our Savior?
Is it not enough for God to accept our praise from our seat?

There is no difference between those who are on their knees touching that cross and those who are doing the same from far, even those who felt on their knees watching this video, for God looks on the hearts. Just like music can inspire emotions, a cross brings memory of the lamb of God. Its all inside, for what we do and say its a reflection of what we are full of inside.

I agree when you say it shouldn't take a cross to bow down, but again we don't know their hearts. Jesus went to Gethsemane to pray, that doesn't mean that I can only pray there, but then again, if I had the chance to go there, I would, It would probably not make any difference AT ALL in my prayer, but It would be nice to pray there and check out the place while remembering everything that happened there :) Just my opinion!

"Often, doubtless, when we have not the LORD's passion in mind and see the image of Christ's crucifixion, his saving passion is brought back to remembrance, and we fall down and worship not the material but that which is imaged: just as we do not worship the material of which the Gospels are made, nor the material of the Cross, but that which these typify." -John of Damascus, 730-ish A.D. This is an old argument, pre-middle ages even.

To everyone saying that these people are wrong for bowing down to the cross, you have no idea whats in their hearts and why there bowing down. The cross is a representation of what Jesus did on it. And another thing its at one of the most spirit filled singers concert and i believe he has discernment and if it was wrong then he wouldnt let it be there cuz he hears from the holy spirit. Dont say that these people are wrong, you dont know whats in there hearts. God Bless.
