When he said 48, he wasn't necessarily saying that that prediction would end the world, I think he was being ironic. Also, apocalypse doesn't mean end of the world, it's Greek for the unveiling of disclosed info; a revelation. Is what is going to happen on is our solar system is going to meet in-line with the milky way and we will switch. In other words, for all of time we have been above the milky way, but in 2012, we will end up crossing going beneath the milky way.

One amazing statistic that should just 'rock the worlds' of all 'end times' buffs is this. Not one single prediction of the world ending has ever come true. Not one. Will the world ever end? Maybe. Will we know ahead of time? Probably not. We'll probably all have a collective Mayor of Hiroshima experience. "What the hell was tha...."

Good start, but it needs more visual content. It might as well be an audio-only podcast if all that is shown is you talking. You should choose more visually-oriented topics for future episodes. The 2012 Apocalypse, while popular, is not easy to present visually.

After reading a few comments I agree with the whole "less talking head" thing.

Typically the skeptic/atheist videos I watch on youtube that are more interesting are the ones that put up a slideshow of relevant pictures while they talk in the background as opposed to the videos where people talk into their webcamera.

You've got a nice voice to not worry about showing your face most of the time =P

Ryan Johnson, if you're reading this, consider a small format change!

I hope you get sponsorship. I know you've been looking for a way to make skepticism your job so that you can do it full time.

We need more active skeptics out there promoting good science and critical thinking.

Maybe you can get these snippits in between commercials on the Science channel or something?
