Burning Love - Ukulele, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass and Flames

Burning Love was written by Dennis Linde and was first recorded by Arthur Alexander in 1971. Elvis Presley made the song famous with his 1972 recording of it which reached Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This was Elvis' final top 10 hit single.

I've always wanted to make a cover of an Elvis song, but there are so many too choose from! In the last little while I've heard this song played frequently on all of the different oldies radio stations that I listen to, and I've grown to really like it. Musically it is very simple, but still alot of fun to play and listen to. I definitely hit some high notes with my voice in this video!

I recorded this in the key of F major, 3 semitones higher than Elvis' original version.
