Washington DC, January 29, 2012 - In an aggressive response to the "questionable" "man-handling" of an Occupy DC Protester, in what appears to be the response to a knee-jerk reaction, the protester is then Stun Gun tased in the back at point-blank range by a US Park Police Officer.

  • @jdg241 hahahaha! you're so ignorant. firearms are used when life is threatened...tasers are harmless and just a means of gaining control of a situation just like this...go occupy a country that doesnt spoil you and allow you to be a parasite

  • Police have no business EVER tasing someone unless their lives were threatened, which did not happen here. Fire these badge thugs. They have forgotten that they work for us and our Constitution. They are an occupying army.

  • occupy protesters are retarded. they protest in illegal areas and freak the fuck out when they get arrested and they seem to have no idea why. maybe if they werent such fuck ups and protested in the right spots and got permits there wouldnt be a problem. police have to maintain areas

  • First he did something wrong. He did not demand a warrant. He pointed at them. He walked away and then circled back. Sorry, in the LAW that demonstrates a) He had no knowledge of his rights. b) It is considered an actual or implied threat. c) along same line, actual or implied threat, he was dodging in and out of tents as if he was hiding something for an attack and/ or trying to get away (reasonable suspicion). There is 3 things which he actually did wrong, sovereign or not. Look up tresspass.

  • Really, look into the law. LOOK DEEP! There are a few places sovereigns are not welcome and it would be VERY WISE to stay away from them. Black's Law Dictionary definition 4: defines United States as 1) Washington DC, 2) Puerto Rico, 3) US Virgin Islands, 4) British Somalia. Get it. No. But I'll spell it out. In DC the only thing one can do is call on the real President of the United States to get them out of jail. Not the corporate one, No sovereign rights in DC don't you get it?

  • Bunch of whiny Poo-sees. To hell with tazers, bring back billy clubs and water cannons.

  • @datashadow Six uniformed officers isn't enough "announcement"? He knew their intention was to arrest; That's why he evaded. If you outlaw o.c. and tazers, that leaves batons and guns. The long term effect will be an inrease in the degree of force.

  • @NickolaySheitanov Each officer carries a sidearm with 12-16 rounds. Longarms perhaps 30 rounds. Do that math.

  • @BringBRToTheUK "Swarming" police would guarantee fatalities. Gun beats whistle 100% of the time.
