As the creator of this video it amazes me how many of you are so rude towards the crew - do you think the crew wanted to die? What ever the cause may be - whose ever fault it may have been, the crew died too leaving behind loved ones. You should be a shamed of yourself if you are rude and nasty.

My self and another pilot talked for a couple of hours about you guys today. Anyone on here who wants to make a negative comment should just keep it to themselves. If you are a pilot and make a negative comment I hope I never fly with you, because you are dangerous. The people flying this plane were humans with loved ones and family. Have some respect on here please! I hope if something ever happens with one of my flights that someone makes a tribute like this! Very well done!

@tdonohue How about they crashed and have taken the lives of everyone on board to the simple fact that they had no idea what they were doing. Pitching a nose up while stalling and reducing flaps is not the right way to go. Good job Colgan air

I have a friend thats been a pilot for over 40 years. From military to US Airways. I HATE flying so every time I see him I have to reassure myself by speaking with him LOL. One day he brought up Colgan.He really beat to death how terrible this company is. How terrible their biz practice's are how they cut corners and really dont give a f**k. This is coming from a great pilot. I'd steer clear of this co. RIP everyone. And Colgan, go FUCK yourselves you pieces of fucking shit greed bitch ass's!

God bless all. It comes down to training that is the bottom line. Shame on Colgan Air. Stall recovery is private pilot training. How did this happen!! My prayers go out to the flight crew the passengers and all their families. Beautiful song.

Thank you tdonohue for this tribute. Even after nearly 3years the heartache is just as painful. The song, poem, photos - all help - may this help us to remember that just as a pilot can climb through a cloudy day to be surrounded by the shining sun , so we too can be comforted, loved and stregthened by God through His Son in these difficult times. I praise the up-loader of this video, even though it is very said. But it helps us to remember that those pilots were lovely people who had many friends and family and didnt want to go like that. Although the captain was heavily criticised for the crash, ultimately it was a sad accident. I am use to watching air crash and being really angry at the pilots due to their actions but when you watch a video like this it is hard to be angry, I just feel sadness for their families and friends.
