Cass and Frankie don't believe that Ken really just wants to make a contribution to the scholarship fund in Mac's name, but Cass says that's enough for today, so why don't they close up shop? Frankie thinks that's a great idea because she's hungry. Cass suggests they go back to her place for a little supper, but Frankie tells Cass she's beat and she doesn't want to cook. Cass tells her that's okay. Frankie says the place is a pit, but Cass still feels they should go back to Frankie's place. Frankie asks why. Cass replies the decor; he's a sucker for early bordello. "You're weird tonight, do you know that, Winthrop?" Frankie asks.
"I'm weird every night," Cass replies, and tells Frankie to get her coat. While she's getting her coat, Cass pulls the ring box out of his pants pocket, opens it, looks at the engagement ring, and tries to give himself a quick pep talk: "Come on, man, come on. Yes. Yes! Come on, be a man and do it. Do it!" Frankie returns and Cass hurriedly shoves the ring box back in his pocket. Frankie asks Cass what he was saying, and Cass says it was nothing. Seeing that Frankie has her coat, Cass is ready to go...until Frankie reminds Cass that he doesn't have his coat. Cass gets his coat, and then he and Frankie head out, with Frankie saying that Cass is definitely weird. Oh, Mary Frances, just wait until you find out WHY Cass is being so weird tonight!
"I wouldn't trust that guy as far as I could throw Roseanne Barr." Leave it to Cass and his witty one-liners!
