In June 2011, nearly 700 people took to the Scottish Highlands to participate in the 6th annual Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge. Teams flying the flag for Sightsavers included the 'Sightsavers Wanderers' and 'Sightsavers For Sore Eyes' made up of hardy staff, Trustees and friends of the charity. Both teams dug deep to complete the 55 mile sponsored walking and cycling event along the Rob Roy Way in an average time of 10hrs 45 mins.
