I live in south eastern Nebraska and I say crayon like you said it the second time, and I don't think I say milk like melk but I might. We say pop here to I have never hear someone call pop, soda in Nebraska.Other than that you and I sound the same.

I'm from the Midwest...I never say "melk"...I said "about" ("A-B-OW-T") really fast the other day and some Nebraskan tried to say I had an accent and said "aboat"...not on your life. I prefer to pronounce my words the way they are dictated by the dictionary, thanks. I also do not say "pop"..."bubbler", "ChiKAAHgo" "WesCAAHnsen", or any other things we in the midwest allegedly say. But my parents are not from here and their parents were from Estonia/Germany and had those accents so yeah.

The only thing I say different is "milk", instead of "melk".

Actually appalachian is not appalAchian. I'm from Virginia so I know.

@thisbetterworkmount I grew in Iowa saying "POP". So it must be an Iowan thing too!
I'm from Missouri and I say all of those things besides pop. We say soda here. You forgot WARSH. Lots of people say warsh instead of wash. Hahaha this was a great video!
