The first of many HWD sponsored herping competitions took place on March 26-28.
It was a lot of fun! We were lucky enough to have a great group of people herping with us.

  • @BallPythonLuver Thanks. Those dang zigzag salamanders are the worst for taking pics of. I can't get this to sit still for anything.

  • i found 4 salamanders (3 redbacks and one baby slimy) in the end of january!!! but i live in maryland

  • i live in Sherman Illinois....its a few miles away from Springfield.....all i ever find is snakes and turtles, i have never found a lizard or salamander of any kind.......do have any advice?

  • dud u are awesom luv your vids mani wish i lived in ilinois there aparently is much more herps there then down here in sc the only snakes u see down here are coton mouths,yellow rat snakes,and ring necked snakes wich is a pretty boring variety

  • the collage my dad went to had a lake and for biologoy class they had to go out to the lake and catch mudpuppies

  • dude i wish i could help u out with ur herping i always liked amphibians eppecialy when u can grab them put them in a little water box and take em home unstead of spending like 69 dollars

  • cool five line skink we have them down in nc near the beach but no salamanders or newts
