yeah, 2008 was quite a summer full of storms, especially in my neck of the woods in Western NY. I did outdoor maintenance work that summer and a lot of those storms prevented us from going outside. And some of them rolled through as soon as I got home. That was quite a fun and eventful summer! :D And once my boy scout troop went on a campout and there was this overnight t-storm that ripped a side of their tent off. I didn't go.

How bad did the Weather Service screw up with their warning on Little Sioux? They missed the Millard Tornadoes and they misjudged this one too. My understanding is that they gave a warning significantly under their average warning time. After the weather channel gets done exploiting the 4 boys to capitalize on the weather ratings, they might want to do some real investigation to figure out why the US weather service can't get their stuff together.
