You can only buy the thermal cape from a professional's only store. It its heavy duty and the look of it looks similar to a barber hair cutting cape. Unfortunately I coudnt find it. I seen it when i was taking stateboard.

I was going to say, but I saw your add-on to the video at 8:46 on the cutting and chemical cape. I was going to say, you cant get through school with JUST a comb out cape and a apron. What did your cutting and chemical capes look like? Usually you would have 4 capes, a comb out, shampoo, cutting, and all purpose chemical. Usually two aprons too, a nylon for cutting hair, and a chemical apron for perms and colors, cause just the nylon one wont save your cloths if you make a mess.

@themancape actually there are 5 different kinds of capes: comb out cape, hair cutting cape, chemical cape, all purpose cape, and a thermal cape. And we did get them in my kit. This is an old video as I already finished school and received my license.

@Crazycali1 Thats cool, congrats on your license, hopefully school has been worth while and your making money with your schooling. Technically chemical and all purpose are pretty much the same. ;) I have never heard of a Thermal Cape before, whats that all about, and what is it used for?

@themancape Its used when you do a press n curl. the cape wont melt or burn

hi nice video..had a quick question was the state exam hard?any tips/or advice you can give as far as what to mainly study for on the state exam?was the test based out of the milady book?thanks

@Crazycali1 Thanks for the reply. Weird, never have heard of one before, or ever seen one. Have a link or a source where you can buy one by chance? What is it made out of? I imangine some heavy duty material if it can hold up to that kind of heat and abuse.
