I just thought of something funny. There's a movie called 'Sex and Zen' ;) Not porn if you think so. More a comedy. You talk a lot about zen and stuff. In the movie a girl sticks a brush up somewhere and paint with it. It's a beautiful film with tasteful scenes. You zen people really know about painting :)

You had nothing to do with it...I was actually pissed when I read this story a while back because I had come up with the idea of "butt painting" a few years ago. I guess screwed up minds think alike haha

It says in an article that "in October 2003, Murmer appeared on a short-lived local cable television program, "Unscrewed with Martin Sargent" and demonstrated his technique.
So my vote is that he has been doing this for longer than we've been on the Tube.
