Dyno: Superior Imports 200MPH Soarer (736HP) & Time Attack Skyline (669HP)

After a very busy season we made some pretty nice achievements in both these cars rookie year.

The Soarer finally got its drivetrain sorted it ran an ET of 11.25/213 at the 1/4 mile with weak traction and a fresh driver. Skyline was kicking ass all season long with an amazing 1.24,9 at Mantorp Park circuit in Sweden and a respectable 1.21,3 sec run at "Superstage gymkhana" - it also made a pass of 11.54/214 at the 1/4 mile. Very good numbers weighing in at 1700kg with driver!

We decided as a finish to the season to dyno both cars at our friends JRM RACING's place. We also brought along a customers Mazda RX-7 which has a full "Boost-up" kit made by us to offer drivebility over pure power (best ET 12.94/187)!

Almost 25% loss between the engine and wheels for the Skyline and 13% for the Soarer i like rear wheels cars

What you use for fuel ?

SP98, E85, Race gaz ?

@MotorsportPowercom: Indeed, lot of power gets lost in the 4WD. 13% for the Soarer is still a bit much for my taste but enough...

We use pumpgas, 99 V-power premium unleaded. We also have E85 available on pump, but I dont like that it has more maintanence so we went for standard.

Måste ge er cred för filmen, normalt gillar jag inte dyno-filmer, förutom mina egna och polarnas bilar då. Men den här var såpass bra gjord med passande musik och bra info om bilarna, snyggt uppradat i klippet och sen dubbla kameror. Thumbs up :)

wow you guys have some very serious cars ! how costly was it to build the jun 3.2 kit? im trying to wiegh up what i want to do with my own supra but only have a budget of 20 thousand austrailian

@SuperiorImportsAB 13% is correct for a rear wheels car, I have a M3 e36 3.2L at the dyno i lose the same % for lose less look for a carbon driveshaft.

For the skyline ok this is a 4x4 but 25% is hard i hope Nissan at work this of the R35

Just one more question: what is the boost pressure for the soarer ?
