@solittleusernames I've seen a lot of reviews of this game which do this comparison. Yes, it is much like chess, which is a good thing. I agree on everything with this guy. This game is awesome, and you can get it now for the price you set in the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle.

@Erebus2075 I can understand that it may not be your taste, but with that said, a lot of the games I've played have all been completed within an hour total, but the fact is that they don't all happen that way.

And no, I doubt a timer would help. It's a slow, chess-like game. It's not trying to appeal to the instant action crowd. And it has had plenty of success, so I don't think it really needs advice.

That said, the campaign is good, and there is an instant skirmish mode which is also good.

@SykoLiu well as said that is kinda my problem with how it looks, if i decide to play a game i wanna play it; i dont wanna play 5min and then have to wait 1h or maybe even a day before i can continue with that game :) dont wanna play 5 games at the same time either; but guess the game type is just not for me; but doubt it will catch many this way, setting a max X timer on your turn would properly strongly help the game

@Erebus2075 I think you're confused about the pace of the game. You don't really sit there waiting for your opponent to finalize his turn. You just decide your turn, then you can "leave" that game and go play in a different match, or even close the game. When you come back, the other player will probably have finished it.

Games are often played out over relatively long periods of time.

there is next to nothing about actual mechanic; yes we get it you loved it; now if you do a review tell HOW and WHY its a easy interface etc; from what you said and what i saw and the fact people can just do whatever instead off taking their turn letting you just wait there; well it didnt sound very appealing and i got next to no info about the game itself.
