you take 1-25 to the placitas exit
get off on that exit and turn right. Just follow that same road all the way up and it will take you right to it. Its about 10 miles away from the freeway

Do you know how to get to placitas? When you exit 25 in Bernalillo, go east and drive all the way through placitas,(it eventually turns into the mountain road that takes you up to the caves).

We hiked up to that cave in 9/05 and it was really gorgeous! I was a little disappointed that it wasn't more open. We climbed over the wall, but couldn't really go very far inside. Great scenery from the cave opening though, wow!!! It's a lonnnnnnng way down.
