There is something to be said about doing things differently in the current music industry. I have attended many shows in many venues of Adelaide and other cities of Australia, but few venues could compare to a great big back yard garden located within Stirling in the Adelaide Hills. Your Take Sessions attended Matt Corby's Secret Garden Tour in December 2011. The tour basically involved people registering to attend a Secret Garden show and then they were given an email with directions to a private garden. The result... 100+ people, byo picnics/drinks and a beautifully intimate show. The Your Take Sessions crew forgot to bring a picnic but thankfully some lovely garden goers shared their picnic with us (Thank you Chanelle and Ben). We also decided to do things a little differently, shooting the film with Matt in the early evening with a small battery powered light pointing towards a rain jacket on the ground for lighting. The result....was a bit special.

You must of taped this after we left, it was such a beautiful garden. Could not have asked for a more gorgeous setting than that garden even though it was FREEZING! Matt's voice was sublime, Big Eyes is on repeat at the moment.
