About a year ago, I started experimenting with shader development. These were the results. The shader programs in this demo were downloaded from http://www.lighthouse3d.com/ , but the rest of the code was from inside a preliminary version of my engine's renderer.

  • Was the wireframe shading per pixel, or per line ray?

  • @sticksquash It was per-pixel based on interpolated normals (see Phong lighting)

  • I think most game development companies will test their models with different lighting methods and materials, which will most likely involve shaders.
