The RENFE Class 130 is a high speed dual voltage trainset also known as Alvia. RENFE operates this train on long distance routes across Spain from Madrid to Alicante or Gijón, Santander, Bilbao, Irún, and Hendaye. The trainsets are unique in their ability to adjust to two different gauge sizes. I filmed this two high-speed trains in the holiday resort Cambrils at the Costa Daurada on May 16th 2011 . The spot was ideal as there was no fence or anything disturbing the view. In fact, I found the insecurity quite dangerous for a high-speed route, when I saw people carrying their bikes over the line. The class 130 trains were so fast that I was not able to hold the camera still unfortunately.

  • I would love to see the Talgo 250's in the US

  • @MrZkr123 I would love to see any US train in action but I am not the best long distance flyer.

  • Beautiful transits even if the aesthetics of these trains do not personally excites me. UP for you. Gian (& FerrovieInRete) ;-) ciao

  • @Gian2812 Thanks, to be honest I have a kind of similar feeling about these trains.
