The same reason two women would...
... Or for the same reason my mom and dad did.

Why is love so difficult to comprehend?

A young gay man I know asked me if I, an older gay man, went to the "PARADE" on Saturday. I had to stop him and correct him that a "PARADE" is something you do in celebration. I rhetorically asked, "Are you celebrating your inability to gain equality in America?" I reminded him that a protest march is NOT a "PARADE", per say. Not to be confused with a "parade of protesters"...

It's nice to see that there are people who're willing to stand up for whats right. Don't get to see that often these days :/

"Vote No on Prop. 8 - Oh shit, too late."
That was what my sign said when I marched in Austin.

Wow, that is a LOT of people! Nice job with your citizen reporting, Manila.
A guy I'm dating and I stumbled across a small pro-gay marriage rally in West Virginia on the same day. We took pictures for them and talked with them for a bit in the drizzly rain. It was fantastic! The rally was sponsored by BiGLTM: wvu. edu/~bigltm
Wierd how you didn't see a giant crowd like this protesting gay marriage probably because those people are to busy making crystal in the back of their trailer. I know that is very narrow minded but I just get really mad when our country continues to declare itself a nation of equal rights and freedoms yet we still outlaw the right for someone to marry and share love with another person. Isb't that the reason people came to America to escape prosecution of their beliefs?
