Bill O'Reilly uses his "Talking Points Memo" to take Bill Maher to task for calling the United States "a stupid country." He closes by suggesting Maher "acted stupidly" with his choice of words.

The reason why theres 87% of americans between 25-64 graduating high school or college, is because the passing grades are so low that even ppl with down syndrome is getting A+ on every test. Newseek recently gave 1000 american born citizens, the citizenship test and 38% failed it. 1/3 couldnt name the Vice president. 3/4 didnt know why US fought the cold war. 4/10 didnt know US fought in WWII. 2/3 couldnt name the economic system thats being used in the United States.

Our country is often not too well educated despite the fact that many have graduated high school and some college. I don't believe we are stupid in any genetic sense. I do think however that Bill Maher has a point if you consider whether we vote in our best interests or not. I have met many highly educated people may not be too bright academically, and dishwashers who by all accounts had extremely high IQs. Not to say that IQs accurately measure all of what we might consider intelligence.

Bill is SO dishonest. How can he compare a state of 100k people to a state of millions? Alaska actually PAYS people to live in it.

Another statistic proving this Country is ignorant? A majority of Americans are blaming Obama for this economy. Americans don't know ANYTHING, and that's why the Country is going down the toilet and American isn't very long for this world.

Americans have had propaganda stuffed down their throats for so long, they don't know how to think anymore.
