Cass and Franco are getting things ready for Felicia's surprise birthday party at TOPS. Franco tells Cass he's sorry that Cass and Frankie had to cancel their wedding. Cass thanks him and says so is he, but when Franco asks, he replies that they haven't set a new date yet; they're just trying to get through the loss of their friend. Felicia is surprised, but not in a good way, when she arrives to find Cass surrounded by purple balloons and holding out a wrapped birthday present to her. Cass wishes Felicia a happy birthday and says soon there'll be a whole chorus of Felicia's friends singing "Happy Birthday" to her. Felicia asks what friends, and Cass rattles off a list--Paulina, Jake, Frankie, Lorna, Kevin, Jenna, Dean, Rachel, and last but certainly not least, Cass himself. Felicia says she hopes Cass didn't order too much food because she's sure no one will be staying very long. Cass tells her that every single one of the people coming loves her. Felicia sarcastically dismisses that with a "Yeah, right" and asks if she should make a list so they can then underline all the grievances. Cass tells her not today. Felicia says she doesn't need a party, but Cass disagrees and says to be perfectly honest, he could really use one, so Felicia agrees. They take seats at the bar and Cass orders a couple of club sodas. Felicia tries to get Cass to drink white wine, saying he'd probably prefer that to club soda. Cass says it's much too early in the day for him to drink. Felicia tells him he doesn't have to do this for her, and he tells her he's not. Felicia asks if alcohol will be served at the party, and Cass tells her no, it won't be, and can they just forget about it for today? Felicia retorts that that's hard to do when Cass keeps throwing it up in her face. If Cass and his cronies want to help out a drunk, they first have to find one. Cass tells Felicia she's way out of line, and it's ugly. Her family and friends want to honor her day and celebrate her birthday. Does Felicia think she can keep it together long enough to get through the morning? Felicia apologizes to Cass and hugs him. Cass tells her they'll blow out some candles, sing a few songs, Cass will tell all the bad jokes he can remember, and they'll have a few laughs, just like the old days. Felicia tearfully says it's never gonna be like the old days again. Cass asks if that's because Lucas isn't with Felicia anymore. Felicia says she isn't even sure Luke would know how to handle something like this. Cass asks Felicia what's going on, and Felicia tells him that Jenna is pregnant. Cass didn't know. Felicia tells him she didn't either; she found out yesterday by accident. Cass asks if Frankie knows about the pregnancy from Dean. Felicia replies that Dean did his best to try and convince her that Jenna did this for Felicia's good. Cass agrees that maybe Jenna and Dean were trying to protect Felicia. Felicia has been unreachable lately. Felicia says if that's the case, then why change now? She says she can't see Cass or Jenna or anyone, but when she goes to leave, Jenna and Dean step off the elevator. Jenna wishes her mother a happy birthday and asks if they can talk alone. Cass and Dean go to look at the construction going on outside so Jenna and Felicia can talk. Felicia says that Cass always thinks he knows what's best for her, but of course, everyone else does too. Jenna says she knows Felicia is upset. "You're damn right I'm upset!" Felicia exclaims. Jenna asks if she can please have a chance to explain. Felicia says that Dean did plenty of explaining for Jenna. Jenna says that was Dean and asks for the chance to tell Felicia her side. Felicia says she's not ready for that yet. Jenna asks why Felicia called in to the radio show, then. Felicia thought Jenna would be thrilled to death to know she was listening; that's what Jenna sent Dean over to tell her, isn't it? Jenna says yes, she wanted Felicia to be listening because she wanted Felicia to hear how much Jenna loves her. Felicia says Jenna already proved that and starts to walk away, but Jenna follows her and asks why she's acting like this. Felicia says she doesn't usually send rumors out over the airwaves. She quit. Jenna remarks that Felicia's been drinking, hasn't she? Felicia says she's not going to discuss this with Jenna and starts to walk away again, but Jenna stops her and raises her voice when she tells Felicia to wait a minute. Felicia can push whoever she wants to out of her life--Lorna, the friends who love her, everyone, but Felicia is NOT going to push Jenna out of the way. Felicia is going to stand there and talk to Jenna whether Felicia likes it or not. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
