  • Do you know whether the age of 21 is the same in the UK? Because I heard it was 25? Thanx

  • @xoluvurselfxo I would think that the sooner you do it in your 20's the better. Again, just so they can see what is normal for you and compare that to future results. Holly

  • About a week before my period I get intense lower back pain, and most recently it's been so bad that it keeps me up at night and makes me miserable. I have not seen a gynocologist yet, and I am sexually active. Would you suggest that something may be wrong? Or is this normal for some people?

  • @DanielleCope Sounds like it is hormonal. I really think if you are sexually active you should see a gyn. I don't think the back pain is a sign of problems, but having a healthy check with the gyn and discussing this will give you some peace, and maybe a solution. Then if other problems arise you will have a relationship with your doctor and that will make it easier to have future conversations. Holly

  • By sexualy active, what do they mean? If you were raped by the same gender when you were young does that count? Does the doctor have to tell your mom if she knows but doesnt talk about it if you dont want them to??

  • @greenmusicgirl101 The doctor can't really know if you were ever sexually active. The hymen can break for lots of reasons (Riding horses, bad falls, etc...). If the doctor suspects anything...it is far more likely in the U.S.A. that he will ask to be alone with you to talk. I want to reassure you that you are a virgin for as long as it takes for YOU to decide to have sex with someone. Rape is a violent act and in my book can NEVER take a girl's virginity. Holly

  • Yiks! I would never do this!

  • what if y period is always lite and i had it for 3 years and it reguler and i missed 5 periods in a roww

  • ooooh, this didn't help me too much, haha i want to go even LESS now! they aren't necessary tests btw, just so everyone knows. there's no reason to go unless you feel discomfort or have symptoms of something "bad", you can examine for lumps or bumps in your vagina yourself, and if you even THINK there might be something, then go. btw, most gyno's are female, and you can always ask for a female.

  • @AutumnAweBear Smart to get it checked out for sure. Probably nothing...but putting your mind at ease is always a good thing. Some women have irregular period their whole life. Doesn't mean anything is wrong with you, just harder to plan for them. We really need to redo this video it is so choppy and horrible quality. It is on my list of projects. Holly
