44,347km (27556 miles) around Australia on a solo motorcycle adventure type thing, to to raise money and awareness for MSF. This is those thousands of kilometres, many months and much hard work; compressed into a 3 minute music video.

Enjoy!

  • I'm planning to travel around Australia with a motorcycle, too. This video is extremely inspirational! :D I just want to ask... How hard was it to find a campsite every night? Did you ever sleep in a hotel or something?

  • Australia has plenty of open space in which to chuck up a tent, so there were no times when I struggled. Need to be a bit 'creative' at times, and certainly not worry too much about where you sleep. Spent a couple of nights in a hostel once, but other than that it was under canvas all the way!

If it doesn't say you can't then you probably can camp somewhere, just make sure you take care of where you camp :-)

  • Did you film all of this yourself. Great job. Great song too. Am headed to Sydney from Chicago for a week with wife, and kids. Won't get this kind of adventure, but you sure got my phyced. Check out my motorcycle minute. We highlight adventure riders.

  • Yup, all filmed myself. There was rarely anyone else around to foist the camera on. It's amazing the places you can jam a small digital camera and a bendy tripod. :)

  • hey mate im leaving tomorrow.

  • Good luck on the trip. Just remember to keep the round knobbly things in contact with the ground as much as possible :-)

    All the best!

  • Thanks for replying! Ahh, I was hoping that Australia would be something like that. Glad to hear that it really is. :)

  • Excellent stuff really enjoyed your video ... great to see that variety of terrain we have here on OZ...

  • Sounds like a good trip! I had a tiny GPS thing, which was actually for hiking. No maps or anything in it, so I just used it to mark the location of each nights camp. :)

Stick with a map i reckon, GPS is just something else to break or go missing. :)
