MAGEEP - Medical Equipment Donation, WUSTL

Our idea for sustainability is to create a medical equipment donation program. This would not only clear up space and reduce waste, but would also equip hospitals in developing countries with the devices they need.

Students would first learn how to repair and test the equipment. Then, students would travel to hospitals in developing countries to deliver the equipment and teach the clinicians how to use and maintain it.

By donating devices that would otherwise wind up in landfills, we can reduce waste, engage students, and help those in need.
