How do you do facial features in sharpie?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did you do that How do you know where to put the black sharpie and where not to? Once I tried doing pen and ink with a sharpie and I ruined the picture. Well, what ever you did it look fantastic!!!!!!!!!! please do more!
