I hate to say this - but I thought this would be a total jazz disaster.
I couldn't even begin to fathom hearing this song without Charles Lloyd and his crew.
Yet, this is quite enjoyable. They make this song their own. I love it. I have Charles Lloyd's on vinyl and can't listen to it because I haven't taken the time to buy another turntable. Of course, his will remain my all-time favorite. But, this one is really cool.

Forest Flower is a fine example of what many call a jazz work horse. These cats do a fine job of exploring the tune. Of course, there is nothing like the old 60's cut with Charles Lloyd, Kieth Jarrett, et al.

One of my all time favorites, but will someone post the original. Many thnx.
These young cats can all play. Excellent solos by piano, bari sax, and trumpet players. Good ideas well developed. When was this recorded? Forest Flower is a great tune also.
