Did anyone else know Don was a drill sargeant in the Marines? Can you imagine that...Don Adams a yelling screaming D.I.? Of course, he didn't talk that way all the time, as it was just a character within the character, but just imagine that voice yelling at ya like R. Lee Ermy. Hard to fathom the thought isn't it?

Yes. Instead of Don Adams as Maxwell Smart, this video focuses on Don as himself. I was highlighting the fact that they are different. Although it is Smart who is immediately recognized, Mr. Adam's personal life was no less important. People sometimes allow the character to eclipse the artist. So, these are pictures of Don Adams in his most important role- just being himself! Hence "Don Adams as Don Adams".

didn't Don Adams earn an engineering degree(or at least studied it in college)?....

He mentioned in an interview on Canadian television that he faked prestigious college credentials and an engineering background in order to work as an engineer designing underground sewers, but his lack of training was not discovered for six months.
