@andrum321 - it depends. The level you want decides what needs to be done. Till thats decided, nobody cant really say. Its still gunna take $3k just to get started. Once you want excessive power, it then needs stronger internals. That will really break the bank. Crank work, new rods, forged pistons, head work, diff, stand alone, etc. I see lots of 250-400hp on a nearly stock motor. But at around 300+ you start to break stuff. Once you need forged internals, everything gets 16v expensive.
