  • She essentially admitted that news syndicates attempt to manipulate the market with their articles.

  • trading algorithms are a really, REALLY bad idea.

  • go Lehman, go!!! :)

advisor trading you are saying? LOL

  • Trading algorithms are only as good as the creators.

Faster, but never smarter. Rarely as smart as.

  • Yes TC I agree , 1 of the facets of trading is that it can be very monotonous but GUI programs will eliminate that and will do the trading for you while you do something you really enjoy :)

  • Lehman ......... LOL

  • So, is it not a good tie to venture into trading as a career?

  • Further, the estimated figure of 50% of the future trades will be executed by an algorithm only takes into account that banks and Hedge Funds will be using automated trading, but what happens if we also include the private investors in this provision ?

    TickCOM

  • Algorithmic Automated trading will in the near future not be limited to banks and hedgefunds, but also private traders will use automated trading in the future.

Banks and Hedge Funds will face stiff competition from 100.000´s private traders in the future, as GUI platforms for developing the algorithms will eliminate the need of programming, and make algorithmic trading available for any trader who can operate a computer.
