I'm not Iranian but I'm hugely intersted in the personality of HIM and the more I learn about the Shah the more I'm impressed and i totally don't understand those Mossadegh's fans. Actually all their talk is about what could be achieved if Mossadegh hadn't been removed from power being at the same time completely blind to all the good things which were in fact achieved by the Shah

Mossadegh never really wanted to down the Shah. When his demagogue politicies became obvious bad for Iranian people, he acept to be downed by the Shah. USSR's and Khomeinists' lies that CIA doomed Mossadegh are false. Mossadegh was a demagogue, not a diabolic figure, such as Khomeini. Mossadegh and democracy were ever described as bad things by Khomeini. Not a single real Mossadegh's follower ever had any power under Khomeinist regime of Iran. I live in Brazil.

funny how islamic revolutions are the only kind of revolution to follow a backward progression into a worse state of living, instead of advancing into a better state. one of those great wonders of nature. the rest of the world yearns for freedom, muslims yearn to be domineered and oppressed by their own barbaric faith. a western ally affording a better way of life for his people will never succeed simply because he is a western ally

@Kad5 you idiot, 98% of the country did not protest against the shah, it was other political groups who banded together to protest in the streets, backed by Carter, brajinsky, Cia, and England. The shah of iran was the greatest, he took Iran to becoming a super power of the middle eqst, but traitors like you kad5 and ur retarded father did not know what kaos you created in our country. Javid Shahhhhhhhhhh

Because the Shah's regime would arrest anyone for simply criticizing his government? Noone likes a dictator. The government there is worse now but it doesn't change the fact that over 98% of the country protested against the shah.

To act like the Shah wasn't a flawed leader is ridiculous. The regime was corrupt and meanwhile the lower classes were starving. The economy was getting weak. And btw my father wasn't a khomeinist. He followed Ali Shariati at the time.

You are the one who is ignorant. North Korea absolutely IS communist. And so was the Soviet Union; which you apparently love. I'm not fucking American. I tell you what. Do an experiment. Fuck off to North Korea for just six months, and you'll never even think about praising the Soviet Union or any other communist system.
