2 Wheelies with Yamaha RD 350 -85

nice wheelie if u change from 1st to 2nd alot earlyer you will find it alot easier but you are probarly doing that by now !!!

Yeah I'm doing that, look at "Stunt @ Lunda 28/05 -07". On this film I hadn't the front wheel high enough so thats why I had to change gear so late, just had'nt enough power with low revs.

Pretty damn skilled. I have a 350LC (Lower gearing and no PV) and it's too hard to control imo.

Maybe i just suck at wheelies but the power is so distinct if you know what i mean. Anyway, i's bloody fun doing power wheelies on 2nd gear. =D

You guys in the UK are so lucky! The large two strokes are banned here in the US. I had an RD 350 back in the 80s and it was a real wheelie machine. I never liked changing gears in a wheelie...scared the crap out of me. But i would pull it up second gear once the powerband kicked....teathering the throttle to keep balance. I miss those days....you guys look like you are having fun. Keep the RDs alive!!!!

Excellent stuff....The aircooled RD club is having its rally at Ashbourne in Derbyshire, UK, on 13/14/15 July 2007. Biggest RD get together in the world. Over 130 RD's on the Saturday rideout in 2006.
