This is my 1990 Sportster 1200. I bought it thinking that it just needed a couple of small things like the guy said it did, but it turns out it was a basket case.. I tore the whole bike apart and decided if one thing was done wrong, there was sure to be more done wrong, so I built it to my liking and for peace of mind! Well one year and two months later, here she is. Its got Keith Black high compression pistons, Andrews V6 cams, 883 heads on a 1200 motor, and crane cams HI-4 Ignitiion. It's a weld in Hardtail frame with a springer front end.. the rest of the stuff on her, well just about none of it can be bought the way it sits.. except for bars and controls.. Check her out.. hope ya like her! I put a lot of time and effort into this build after it pissed me off in the beginning.. just had to make sure it wouldn't disappoint me again.

  • Very nice bike! One of the nicer sportster bobbers I have seen on here, love it! Great job and a good demonstration of what can be done with with the sportster as your starting point!

  • Thank you! I really appreciate that! In the past, I used to think sportsters were just for girls/beginners or an entry level motorcycle.. Well, luckily, I was taught differently over time and now I am one of the truest fans to the sportsters (and XS650's; My two personal favorites). This bike has my heart and soul in it.. but I am starting to lean towards redoing it along with another bike here pretty soon. Also, keep an eye out for the XS650 Bratstyle build that is nearing completion...

  • the seat is custom and one of a kind.. can't buy that one from just anywhere.. the front end is a "bent leg springer" by kansas kustoms, as well as the frame has their weld in hardtail made for this particular bike.. these seats can be expensive, but its way worth it to have something that you don't see anyone else with!! I'm very happy with the products from Kansas Kustoms as well!
