honda I4 engine like civic si if you upgrade it can go 1004hp what if they make a v10 engine how many horsepower it could go?
-
Nissan and Yamaha(bikes) will always be #2
-
Japanese F1 :)
-
3:37 listen to that drop. *wipes jizz off face*
-
Do they make this v8 a tech?
-
This new HSV will have a hybrid AWD system, so it will pass Euro VI or V. Honda is working on a new AWD system, that should be announced fairly soon. However, don't expect this car to have mega HP, as Honda is focusing on handling and balance rather than high HP.
-
@rendezvous65 Toyota is planning on the new supra too and probably nissan, subaru, mitsubishi and mazda are making their iconic revivals too, BUT THE ECONOMY'S HOLDING EM DOWN.
and honda wont produce the HSV because it won't pass Euro-4 requirements and naturally aspirated engines can't keep up with that. :((

Honda's CEO said there will be 2 sports cars, one fast car for Acura, and a less expensive car for Honda.
There is a new Acura supercar for a new move called the Avengers with Robert Downey Jr, but that car is NOT going into production. It was a one off made just for that movie.
Then again Acura is working on a new AWD system that could debut in the production FR sports car.

@WhatThePresidentSays Vtec.net had something in it. This is what a guy from Honda Europe said. I'm pretty sure it will be based on the HSV production car. The announcement couldn't have come at a worse time. It was so close, that if had not been canceled, we would have seen a prototype at last years Detroit auto show. I'm sure it would have possibly gone into production this year. Though we'll probably never see it.
-
@rendezvous65 may i ask where you got that from?
-
2 sportscars are supposedly being developed. One is the FR-AWD supercar similar to HSV, and the other is a MR vehicle based on a reverse accord platform. The reversed accord platform vehicle will be affordable, fuel efficient, and fun to drive. It would compete with the Porsche Boxster and Cayman.
-
Honda is working on a supercar. Ito isn't against sporty cars, but had to make critical decisions.
-
@TheUnderwearBomber Actually this engine is derived from Indy car, and Formula Nippon.
-
A NSX with s v8 from Honda... This is wat we've all been waitin for...
-
a honda exc must have said damn it just use one of the old f1 v8 engines
-
Honda, start to make and sell this supercar NOW!
-
Although I dislike how the HSV-10 looks from the back (NSX looks better), the HSV-10 basically proved that Honda takes care of business when it comes down to it. Debuted in the 2010 Super GT and took 1st place overall that year--Honda Power!!!
-
holy **** ! this "soundtrack" get all my hairs in air...........and i got lots of them :D
-
They need to put this beast into production!!!
-
@shift9303 It uses the 3.4L engine from Formula Nippon (that is the japanese Formula 2 successor series).
See world.honda.com/HSV-010_GT/
-
@shift9303 Basically, its just modified to mtach regulations.
-
I heard this thing uses the same engine as the Honda F1 car. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-
After V12 and V10 and V8 F1 Cars, this is one of my favourite engine sounds - most likely my favourite of any GT car. Maybe it's because it sounds so similar to them!
-
crazy shit Sound
Now THAT is a V8
