@chonglansang Yeah but at least Nastia is a great all-around gymnast, while He Kexin sucks on everything except bars. How many Olympic medals did He Kexin come home with? Not as many as Nastia! As for the age rule, age and talent have nothing to do with each other. I don't agree with the 16 and over rule, but I don't think that CHEATING is the way to change things, either.

@chonglansang Sometimes the end oesn't justify the means. If China did cheat, they disgraced themselves, which saddens me because China sees to want baseit's reputation on honor, not disrespect. As for He winning, yes it was a fabulous routine, but YYY won that night. Besides, if we're going to tout Jr gymnats for beating seniors: Nastia was possibly the best bar worker in the world in 2004 but was too young to compete.

Have you seen nastia's dismount atleast .3 for the cowboy and .1 for the step. A low handstand for .3 off. that's already 7 in just two skills... I think yang yillin should've won based on the performaces each did that day

He Kexin beat Liukin in the EF and takes the UB gold medal at Beijing2008. She really deserved the gold medal. Her talent must have overcome that stupid underage rule in Olympic even if she is less than 16yo. What a magnificent moment for a junior gymnast to beat a senior gymnast in the Olympic!

how good a gymnast you are hasn't got much to do with age, when you're at that level.
