  • It had a matte black finish to begin with on the whole gun.

  • I've been told that before. I use matte clear and it's been pretty durable.

  • As long as you prep it well by removing all dirt and oil you should be fine. I used alcohol wipes. Tape up all moving parts. Make sure you use the type of paint I specified in the videos. Very light coats for the base coat and flat finish clear also applied in light coats.

  • When you clean your gun with Break free and other cleaning products does it ruin the paint job?
