Actually... Character-wise,

Roshi's character is more resemblance to the original compared to Bulma's character....

I must disagree roshi from the anime spent the majority of the time watching the aerobics on television or peeping bulma had mysterious glasses which gave him dignity only a perverted smile or furrowed eyebrows betrayed his thoughts roshi had the personality of which DBE roshi have not
