FFXII Hunt #7 - Rocktoise

Vaan - Lvl 12
Balthier - Lvl 15
Fran - Lvl 16
Basch - Lvl 15
Ashe - Lvl 15
Penelo - Lvl 15

Rocktoise has tons of hp, and can deal 500 damage, which is alot at this point in the game. He is weak to wind, so cast Aero if you have it. Poles work well against him, also, since he has low Magic Defense.

Basically, what you do here is have whoever Rocktoise is targetting run away from Rocktoise, circling around the room, and making him follow while the other two party members attack. This is easy to do, because tortoises are slow.

However, after time he will change targets. Just take whoever he targets next, and do the same thing.

seems you are starting to get along nicely now, what level are you expecting to be by golmore? a lot of people get to Jahara and level up liek crazy.

also, will you be skipping Elder Wyrm?

Well, I'll probably be in the 20s in Golmore. It is sort of low, but I rely more on equipment than levels. I'll have to see, though.

And no, I won't skip Elder Wyrm. He's too fun a boss to miss, and plus my series wouldn't be complete without him. :)

Best way to kill him is to blind him at the beggining of fight , then it's a piece of cake since he can't hit you

I lured him to the cave entrance, switched to ranged guys and used reflect on the guy he was targeting. His magic is a lot weaker, but It took a hell load of time :D
