About Amnesty International

An official Amnesty International video that they screened at the AIUK AGM meeting 2006. Some amazing footage and a really motivating video - I got a copy to show my Amnesty youth group at our meeting and it really inspired them to get active. I have decided to share it as it is amazing viewing, and I think it will spark the imagination and enthusiasm of most audiences.

Rest in peace Peter Benenson.

NB: A lot of people have been asking how they can download this video... I might get in trouble for this, but go to http://www.viloader.net and convert this video into a Flash file which you can download to your computer. Then use the free software 'iSquint' (Google it) to convert it to a QuickTime file. You can download any Youtube video this way, but you need to use a Mac to do it. I didn't tell you how to do this, shhhh. Please use this video wisely - I do not own the Copyright to it, but if it is used to advertise and raise awareness of Amnesty International and human rights abuses then I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

@Mrfreeworld1000 so ask me this question. what's your alternative? lwop is what 99% of people will say as an alternative. ask me this how is lwop the better solution? thousands of innocent people are sentenced to life imprisonment a year and few get out, those few are usually not released until many years later and under terminal illness. you're only defence here would be to say at least you didn't execute him. so now who is the one truly lacking in compassion.
