my entry for the moe. video contest for the song 'tailspin', from the album 'the conch'. this was really fun to put together. it was very cool to be able to create a visual interpretation of moe.'s music- something i've wanted to do for a long time.

Completely original and wildly imaginative conglomeration of images. This work deserves many more hits than it has thus far received. I want to watch it several more times. Impossible to absorb this hilarious grab bag in one viewing.

Very cool take on one of my favorite moe. songs. Creative juxtaposition of visuals combined with superb editing and directing make this a great "Tailspin" video. You definitely have a feel for the song. Thanks.

i specifically chose to use all archival stock footage to keep the stylistic tone of the music video consistent. the imagery it provides can be just as strong as newsfeed when you relate it to the lyrics & changes in the music; in many cases it's more creative in the visuals it presents.
politicians have been spinning their yarns for generations; the bush admin's is just the latest example. besides, we already hear w and his cohorts in the mix, we don't necessarily need to see them. we get it.
