Just a video of the in-game tutorial and instructions within the battles.
This game in my opinion is a sleeper hit.

Many Phantasy Star fans bash this game just because it contains cards and turned based, but when you understand on how the game is played and get involved in the story, its just as good as Episode 1,2 and 4, with online gaming to boot .

With its unique game play and style, its something that all RPG-Strategy fans must pick up.

(The offical SEGA servers have been down for a while, but there are a couple of private servers such as Schthack which still support Episode 3)

Also..
Sorry about the choppy frame rate. When I uploaded the video to youtube, it messed kinda messed up the quality. It should still be readable.

  • i love this game

  • this at all..

The game came out during the Yu-Gi-Oh boom, tho, so interest for Card games was there. Too bad Sega didn't promote PSO III among people who might have liked it =/

The unpopularity of this game also makes me doubt we'll ever see a remake or XBL Arcade version of it, but i'm still hoping..

  • i totally agree with what you said in the video description, this game is brilliant and didn't get the attention it deserved..

this is mainly to blame on Nintendo for not supporting online games on Gamecube (only 2 online games, expensive network adapter, no official keyboard, etc..) and Sega for not advertising it..

the only people that knew about the existance of this game were fans of PSO I&II, but the majority of them were hack'n slay fans and didn't want to play a Card strategy game like...
