Ledgology 101

A collection of ledge techs I've been messing with in Brawl, focusing on what I've been calling the airwalk.

To airwalk, simply run off the map and immediately smash backwards towards the ledge, in most cases performing an aerial as well.

That Lucario dair...shouldn't it have fastfalled? All dairs fastfall automatically if they are at the peak or fall of any jump. Was he even fastfalling?

Lucario's dair has that stalling animation, similar to the stall-then-falls of Toon Link, Zamus, Sonic, etc. His just doesn't have the "fall part" which allows this to work.

Out of curiosity, can you do the same with Link and Toon Link's Dairs?

No, TL's dair stops all horizontal momentum which keeps you from DIing back and Link's doesn't have the stall in it so you just fall to your death.

I have hit with the Kirby Hammerwalk before...

How tight was the timing? I could see one that canceled later in the move hitting, but for one that quick the hitbox shouldn't come out.

jiggly's is not as useful, because its usualy in your best intrest to chase the enemy off stage, not return instantly

With G&W airwalk,is it possible to spike or do a good horizontal knockback if they with a high percentage?

Airwalking is possible w/ R.O.B's Dair, wait for it to come out and boost you back onto the stage, and then you win

Sonic can grab the edge without an ariel its not just wario so can C.Falcon and Toon Link I've done it
