Heres another great single-note run. Pick blocking as well as palm blocking will improve with exercises just like this one. We are in B_ The 1+3 are walked upwards stacatto in an offset chromatic fashion to the 9 tone high, (c)..the next part of the phrase is played over the 2 chord utilizing the bar. As we slide to 13, there a few rests, and then a single note flurry, ending in a simple a pedal vamp....Great solo!....Keep up the good work, and keep practicing those finger exercises!...Mickey

  • Mickey, in one of your other videos you mentioned Jeff Newman. I talked to his widow, Fran, today and purchased some DVD lessons on technique. Watching you pick just makes me want to do it right! 8-)
