Yeah I painted them back in 2006. I used Angelus Leather Paint.

Most people actually confuse them for 85's, but they are painted 1994 Retros. I've never got a comment about them being fake. It's pretty easy to tell a fake AJ 1 from a real one, especially since the 94's are true high tops and most fakes are modeled after the 2001 and 2001 retro + mid.

I do have my reasons as to why I ended up painting them. I will be discussing it in a future video once my brother gets a new camera ordered.

@TheBruinsboy i no friend.........=] but must be very careful with that stuff if you get it on the midsole itll separate and using to much is like wax , takes a layer off

@mrsole I restored my white and green and all I have to say is use some diluted bar keepers friend. It is color. Safe (it didn't bleed my green jumpman on to the white) and it also cleans the mesh up real good. Also used it on the mesh from the Aj 11 low red and whites. And they are clean again.
