Yeah I painted them back in 2006. I used Angelus Leather Paint.

@restoremysneakers why would you want to paint the OGs black? i was lookin at them and thought they were fake. haha well good job anyways. do you ever get comments on them saying they're fake?

Most people actually confuse them for 85's, but they are painted 1994 Retros. I've never got a comment about them being fake. It's pretty easy to tell a fake AJ 1 from a real one, especially since the 94's are true high tops and most fakes are modeled after the 2001 and 2001 retro + mid.
I do have my reasons as to why I ended up painting them. I will be discussing it in a future video once my brother gets a new camera ordered.
