lmfao My parents tried telling me sandy claws was real! I knew better and I was only like 6 and they bought me one of those really bad ass Power Wheel things and tried telling me Santa brought it. In reply I told them no it wasn't and that it came from wal-mart. They just laughed and told me I was right and explained to me that it was all a lie. I'm not gonna lie I was a little saddened by this, but I was alright with the free gifts so I accepted it lol

I was told by my sister when I was like 6 that santa claus is fake. Then later in the 5th grade, i was ten and said i didnt beileve in santa. This kid named Cameron called me an atheist and then said Santa Claus was Jesus.

LMAO! Great message. We were also of those parents that did not want to promote disillusionment in our children, making them to believe in a guy that bring better toys to rich kids. They also were labeled as stupid for not knowing about Santa, go figure. And lastly, you can be a believer or not, but Christmas is not about deers, and elves, and the guy in red. But... some of my kids are married now, and spouse still wants to keep the "tradition". Whatever...

@arabbel I think Saint Nicholas was celebrated on the 5th of december wasn't it? I can remember getting presents on the 5th/25th of december for St Nicholas/Christmas and then again on 2nd of January for my birthday.

In holland, our version of santa claus is a man dressed in red&white robe with a staff and white people dressed up as black people carrying gifts.

Santa Claus is god compared to him imo, although the concept of santa claus originated from our version: Sinterklaas.

So yeah because of the dutch you have to endure santa claus every christmas! I'm sry about that :(
