I always played this in the alternate color mode with Red canyon and blue goats. This was a great game for it's time. I got so good, I could get to level 9 and play that level over and over several times before losing a life.
Does anyone know how they were able to make the canyon explosion sound? Especially moving the screen at the same time. Because the CoCo didn't have processor power to animate and play sound at same time.

I still have this game and my CoCo. There are a few bugs in this game, one is the indian scene... if you get to the top and up the ladder, you can go back down and won't get killed by the arrows. You can sit and jump over them to boost up your score.
On the canyon scene, if you go right away and don't stop you can clear the screen without getting hit almost every time. I completed this game to the point that the score turned to garbage characters.

haha... as a kid I could never get past canyon 5 or 6, so guess I got too excited and things just really fell apart ridiculously after 9 min.
Every one of those deaths make me laugh, especially when the eagle beans me as I'm climbing up that final ladder at 9:35, and my brilliant accidental walk-off at the end.
