I have always wondered what there is here in Spokane that attracts out-of-town visitors. Do they enjoy Spokane for the same reasons that I do - outdoors recreation such as bicycling, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, skiing, swimming, and fishing?
I don't golf, but have heard there are some nice courses around here.
I like it here because I have hiking trails 3 blocks away from my front door, and the Centennial trail and the Spokane river just a few more blocks from there.

spokane has tons of stuff to do! there is skiing, skating, IMAX, gondola over the river, and great people. i am proud to live near spokane, it is an awesome city.

i wouldn't visit Spokane because it has marmots, isn't there a better reason than marmots, shopping, or golf. I can do that almost anywhere.
