Hi all, just reading the comments after 4 years. I know the graphics card of my PC sucked at the time. I did not cheat but played on Noble difficulty level. The core of the strategy of Gandhi was this: get the pyramids (so you get extra science for specialists) and get the great library (so you get 2 free scientists + free scientist generation). Then do everything you can to increase great scientist generation in your capital. Eliminate the others once you are way ahead in the science race.

I wanted to illustrate the strategy for Gandhi as explained in my previous comment. This strategy is also very effective in multiplayer and if you are playing Gandhi, you can make sure that you found Hinduism and Judaism (with organised religion to speed up building wonders) and that you are first to complete the Pyramids and the Great Library. I played on Noble because, if you play multiplayer, other people cannot found religions and build wonders faster than Gandhi either.
